Michael Shakely

Hello! My name is Michael Shakely and I am an Oahu-based Professional Photographer. I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I study Marine Biology. I often find myself spending most of my time hiking to remote waterfalls, surfing Makapu’u beach, or training for an upcoming Ironman. I am working towards making nature and portrait photography into a full time profession. Traveling the world and documenting my experiences with the people and places I visit has been a dream of mine since I first picked up a camera in highschool. I want to inspire others to experience the world and to show them how beautiful the world really is.
